The Legend of King Arthur originates in the Dark Ages when the Celtic Kings of old Britain fought a losing battle against the invading Angles and Saxons.

During the Middle Age, the legend was written and King Arthur and his court came to represent the epitome of chivalry and courtly manners. he was also made a Christian and thus was born the story of the Quest for the Holy Grail.
