This beautiful rose pendant has been hand carved in Genuine Whitby Jet. This style is reminiscent of the Jewellery favoured by Queen Victoria, after the death of her beloved Prince Albert. Whitby Jet was singled out as the best quality Jet available in Victorian times and the Jet industry in Whitby flourished with the support of Queen Victorias patronage. The pendant is set on a silver mount and the chain, has an extender to enable it to be worn at the desired length.
