"Fopdoodle - A dumb person constantly making poor choices"
Designed exclusively for English Heritage, our colourful Unpleasantries range features Victorian words used to describe certain characteristics in people.
In 1909, British writer Andrew Forrester, published “Passing English of the Victorian era, a dictionary of heterodox English, slang and phrase” under the pseudonym James Redding Ware. The dictionary chronicles some delightful words and phrases typically used during the Victorian era. Our range of products provides some additional colour to an already vibrant language.
