A clock that also works as a time machine? This incredibly detailed timepiece is designed in the steampunk style, adding an industrial edge and creating a new invention; the time machine! A completely exposed clock mechanism sits behind a large clock face that is decorated with bolts, rivets and even a steam powered wheel. The hours are counted with the large hands, whereas the minutes are counted on a smaller clock face near the bottom. A small hammer strikes the large gold bell when it is time to wake up, creating a traditional alarm clock sound. This clock is a true talking point that will look great on any mantel piece.
The term steampunk represents a genre of science fiction that takes inspiration from historical steam-powered machinery of the Victorian era and mixes them with modern technology to create a fantasy world of design, art and new inventions.
