This Whitby Jet Cathedral Cross Pendant is a traditional Norwich cathedral cross in silver, set with a central circular stone of highly polished Whitby Jet. This pendant is supplied with an 18inch chain. Jet was especially popular for ecclesiastical and mourning jewellery, being favoured by Queen Victoria herself.
Our Whitby Jet jewellery is lovingly made by hand in the Derbyshire workshops of family-run jewellers, C. W. Sellors using genuine Whitby Jet. A deep black, highly polished gem derived from fossil wood found along the North Yorkshire coast.Key Features:
