The battle of Waterloo was won by the Duke of Wellington’s army in 1815. This set of handmade chess pieces replicates the characters, clothing and equipment of the iconic battle. The pieces are crafted from polystone resin and are individually hand painted. The artists that create these replicas are encouraged to add their own flare to their work, making the paint work on every piece completely unique. This set makes a truly unique gift for anyone who loves to play chess that also has a keen interest in history.
