Celebrate England's rich heritage with this mesmerisingly beautiful Whitby Jet and Silver Teardrop Pendant. Suspended from a pierced clasp is a teardrop of intense black Whitby jet. Hand carved and polished to create an almost mirrored finish, it contrasts alluringly with the natural brightness of its sterling silver chain and setting. Elegant and sophisticated, the pendant makes a lovely accessory for a special day or night. Handmade in England, it is exclusively gift boxed for English Heritage.
Our Whitby Jet jewellery is lovingly made by hand in the Derbyshire workshops of family-run jewellers, C. W. Sellors using genuine Whitby Jet. A deep black, highly polished gem derived from fossil wood found along the North Yorkshire coast.
